The Cameron Impact Scholarship is an undergraduate scholarship that provides full tuition for four years. It is a once-a-year opportunity given to approximately 10 – 15 students who excelled in high school. The Cameron Impact Scholarship is awarded to these students in recognition of their outstanding academic, extra-curricular, community service, and leadership abilities.
It is an opportunity for these outstanding students to up their aspirations of contributing to positive forces to impact their communities and the world at large positively. They do this by capitalizing on this opportunity to complete their education. The Cameron Impact Scholarship program not only covers full-tuition fees. It also covers the books the students will use at any United State based accredited College or University of their choice.

The Cameron Impact Scholarship is a four-year, full-tuition scholarship for high school students who have demonstrated excellence in leadership, community service, and academics.
The Cameron Impact Scholar is distinguished among their peers by their desire to make a positive difference in their communities and the world at large. Our Scholar wishes to be a part of positive forces for change and intends to tailor their education to that end. The Cameron Impact Scholarship pays for the recipient’s full tuition, fees, and books at any accredited U.S.-based college or university.
The Cameron Impact Scholarship is a merit-based program that is open to all applicants who meet the GPA and citizenship requirements, regardless of race, socio-economic status, religion, sexual orientation, or any other background factors.

Benefits of the Cameron Impact Scholarship
The Cameron Impact Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship program that covers a whole lot. Below is a summary of the Benefits of the Cameron Impact Scholarship
It covers full tuition – this means that beneficiaries won’t pay a dime in school fees.
The Cameron Impact Scholarship also covers book fees – this means that all academic materials the students will use throughout the four-year study will be paid for by the Bryan Cameron Education Foundation. 12 00pm pt
The candidate gets the opportunity to study at any university of his/her choice in the United States.
Eligibility Criteria and Selection Process
Only universities/Colleges in the United States of America. This means the applicants can only choose schools within the US and not outside the United States.
Eligibility for the Cameron Impact Scholarship is based on the following criteria.
- Maintain a minimum, cumulative, unweighted GPA of a 3.7/4.0 scale or equivalent in their high school studies;
- Be a full citizen of the United States of America;
- You must be a high school senior graduating in 2023, and you must plan to enroll in a full-time degree program at a four-year accredited U.S. college or university for the academic year following your high school graduation.
- Show proven excellence in extracurricular activities, be motivated leaders with a strong work ethic, demonstrate active participation in community service and/or civic-minded arenas; and
- Submit the following three components by the Application Deadline:
- Online Application;
- Two required Letters of Recommendation; and
- Transcript certifying academic performance.
There are two opportunities to submit the Initial Online Application:
The early application deadline for the class of 2023 is May 20, 2022, at noon
The regular application deadline for the class of 2023 is September 9, 2022, at 12:00 pm
Applications are received and reviewed on a rolling basis. Please note that the Foundation is limiting the number of applications they will review to 3,000 from the Class of 2023.
The Selection Committee will select 100 finalists to receive face-to-face interviews in the Fall of 2022 (typically at the Applicant’s high school). Recipients of the Cameron Impact Scholarship will be announced in December 2022.
Recipients of the Cameron Impact Scholarship are required to attend an annual Cameron Impact Scholars Award Ceremony and Summit for the 4-year duration of the Scholarship.
How to Apply for Cameron Impact Scholarships
About 25% of the scholarship is awarded to individuals pursuing careers in education, non-profits, government, and/or military who have a stated professional goal of public service.
To successfully apply/apply for the Cameron Impact Scholarship, follow the following steps below:
- Visit the application portal to fill out the application profile form
- Create login details (Username and Password)
- Check your email to activate your account.
- Then click on the “Applicant Login” at the bottom of the website
- Complete your application and your essay, bearing in mind the word limit for the essay.
- Upload your academic transcript. You can either upload your recommendations and transcript on the online portal or email them directly to [email protected]

- Who can apply for the Cameron Impact Scholarship?
The Cameron scholarship is now accepting applications from members of the Class of 2022. Applicants must be US citizens with an unweighted GPA of 3.7 or higher.
The Foundation is looking for candidates who have demonstrated strong evidence of leadership, extra-curricular involvement, and community service, and who want to make a positive impact on the world around them.
- What is the application deadline?
The early application deadline for the class of 2023 is May 20, 2022, at noon
The regular application deadline for the class of 2023 is September 9, 2022, at 12:00 pm
- What is the difference between the Early and Regular Application deadlines?
They thoroughly and fairly evaluate all applicants, regardless of when they apply. There are, however, some advantages to applying early.
The number of applications accepted for the scholarship is limited to 3,000. If and when they reach this limit, the scholarship application will be closed, regardless of deadlines.
They will also post a notice on their website and social media platforms if they are close to reaching this limit, to alert prospective applicants.
Early applicants will learn if they have been selected for a finalist interview in June, rather than in the fall, as is the case for regular applicants.
The scholarship awards 80-100 finalist Interviews each year. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, and the number of Interview slots filled in the early application round determines the number of Interview slots available for regular round applicants.
- What does the Cameron Impact Scholarship cover?
The Cameron Impact Scholarship is intended to cover the full tuition and ‘qualified educational expenses (as defined by the Internal Revenue Service) at the recipient’s chosen collegiate institution.
‘Educational expenses’ vary amongst higher institutions, but the Scholarship is intended to cover tuition, fees, course-related expenses, books, supplies, and equipment. The Cameron Impact Scholarship does not cover Room and Board.
- How many scholarships are awarded each year?
10-15 Cameron Impact Scholarships are awarded each year.
- Will I be notified of my status even if I am not selected for an interview?
The Foundation notifies all applicants of their status, regardless if they receive a Finalist Interview or not. Early applicants are notified by June 30th, and regular applicants are notified by October 31st.

- May I submit my transcript or recommendations after the deadline?
Their deadlines are hard ones, and any incomplete applications will NOT be reviewed. They do not accept any late transcripts or recommendations.
If any information is missing for the Early Application Deadline – your submission will automatically roll to the Regular Applicant Pool.
- Is the scholarship need-based?
The Cameron Impact Scholarship is merit-based. They will never ask you for any personal or familial financial information. Financial need is not taken into consideration in their evaluation process.
- If I am not awarded the Cameron Impact Scholarship, are there other merit-based programs that I should explore?
There are! While they are honored to award a significant number of merit-based scholarships each year, they recognize that there are many deserving candidates out there whom they are not able to recognize through our program alone.
