Abstract

      This study therefore focuses on the constraints to the teaching of oral English in secondary schools. Five researcher questions were formulated for the study, the design of the study was descriptive survey the sample size of the study was 150 students and 50 teachers who were all used for the study. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire whole.                The method of data analysis was mean and standard deviation.

       The findings were discussed and recommendations were made.
