Abstract

This research work was carried out on challenges of ICT to the productivity of graduate student in polytechnic. A case study of Federal Polytechnic, Nekede. It was carried out in order to find out the challenges of ICT to the productivity of graduate student in polytechnics. Information now plays a vital part in the lives of individuals, organization and institutions and information literacy being the key to the optimum use of information the productivity of graduate student emphasized the importance of ICT and information literacy as vital components in the development of life skills, schools, and citizenship. In the new economy is well documented countries worldwide are pouring resources into the ICT infrastructures despite the widely acknowledged productivity paradox, evaluating the contribution of ICT investments has become an elusive but important goal of researcher and economic but this area of research is fraught with complexity and using this approach, we conduct a study of some department to determine if there was empirical evidence to support claims that ICT investments are worthwhile. We examined the relationship between ICT use in cash management functions within financial departments, perceptions of the importance of cash management to treasure managers, and their perceptions of the usefulness of ICT to financial department performance.
